As a avid bike lover and Yamaha Midnight Star owner, Gerhardt joined the Star Riders South Africa Biker association. Virtual Planet Spreads It's Wings

Virtual Planet Recently secured a contract with "The Holiday Club" to do 135 resorts over the whole of South Africa. Congratulations to the team for securing the contract. Tammy and Klaus embarked on doing the photo shoots of the resorts and activities around South Africa. They have completed the Eastern Cape, Garden Route, Western Cape, Gauteng, North West and they are currently in the Limpopo Province. They have a gruelling 5 weeks left of their road trip and we wish them luck for the remainder. Also my thanks to Klaus and Heinz from Omnivision for all the hard work dedication and long hours. Thanks and gratitude to those people that believed and contributed to our success.

Virtual Planet is 1 Year Old.

Our Garden Route franchise has grown and more Guesthouses, B&B and private sellers has joined our network. We are on the brink of a major breakthrough nation wide and I hope to report in my next blog post on this new development. Virtual Western Cape is starting to show promise and if we look how long it took to get the Garden Route successful we have a while to go yet, but hopefully the next year will bring a lot of surprises. Virtual Eastern Cape has grounded to a halt for the moment as we are concentrating our efforts on the Garden Route and Western Cape for now. The other Franchises is still up for grabs, but if there is no takers I will go for it myself as this new breakthrough will prove that we are the best with Virtual Photography.

Virtual Planet is expanding operations.

The Virtual Garden Route site is growing and we decided to assist the Virtual Western Cape franchise as there is a lot of opportunities for the 2010 FIFA World Cup for affordable accommodation and affordable property. There is so much scope for Hotels, Guesthouses, B & B, Selfcatering accommodation, private properties to be rented or leased out for the 2010 FIFA World Cup that we had to interview and get people to work in that region. We identified and interviewed two great candidates out of a horde of applications. I had interviews in the Mother City and was extremely happy with Maria and hope that she will head up the ship for Virtual Planet in the Virtual Western Cape and Virtual West Coast regions. 2009 starts with a bang.

So we had a lot of hick-ups with our start up of the Virtual Garden Route franchise, but things are looking up. We had our dissapointments with the consultants and it took and unfortunate incident and a reduction of one of our consultants still on a basic salary, to get things on track. Lorraine Gerber is the only consultant left that I have any obligation with. She shows a lot of promise. With a rude awakening she took on Outdshoorn and signed 12 clients within a month, well done Lorraine. She focused on Guesthouses and B & B establishments. She even got a farm on board and a Art gallery. Thus our client base in the Garden Route is growing.

Heroldsbay Festival 2008

We had a very exiting time at the 2008 Heroldsbay Festival. Our Logo and Brand name got a lot of exposure. The team spent a lot of time promoting, accomodation, B & B, Guesthouses, Hotels and private home sales. Especially with the 2010 FIFA World Cup around the corner a lot of focus was spent on getting new clients to sign on. The weather was great and we sponsored all the sporting events. the players looked smart in our branded T-shirts with the Virtual Planet logo on. Once again to my team, Thank you for your hard work.
