Virtual Planet ran their first newspaper advertisement on the 4th September 2008. It was placed in the whole Garden Route published newspapers, The George Herald, The Mosselbay Advertiser, The Knysna Plett courant. The response was minimal but the exposure was to 40 000readers. We had to run an ad campaign to get the editorial exposure for the next two weeks after the advertisement. All worthwhile for the long run as people started taking notice and the logo is starting to get recognised.
